Hijama / Wet Cupping
Holistic Wellness & Gentle Traditional Care
Hijama, also known as wet cupping, is a traditional wellness practice offered in a clean, private, and professional environment where comfort and safety come first. This therapy may help improve blood circulation, reduce body pain, ease muscle tension, and support overall well-being. It can also be beneficial for stress, anxiety, and other psychological concerns that may contribute to sleep disturbance.
What Is Hijama?
Hijama wet cupping is a traditional/holistic ancient practice with origins tracing back to ancient Egypt, Middle East and China around 1550 B.C. After cleaning and sterilizing the points on the body, the clean suction cups are placed on those specific points to create gentle suction on the skin to draw blood flow to the surface, followed by making small incisions to extract a small amount of blood. After a short period, the cups are carefully removed, and the area is cleaned and sterilized to prevent infection. It is perfectly normal to feel lightheaded after the treatment. You will be allowed to take your time to get up and move. Do not rush.
